Welsh Roots: Quilting Nature's Palette

This project was a live brief with the company 'Biophilic Living Swansea'. The aim of this project was to create a connection from Swansea to home, travelling back and forth from city to countryside, foraging local plants along the way. I created a Welsh quilted blanket made from a variety of naturally dyed fabrics. The beauty was within the process of naturally dyeing, being able to extract colour in such a sustainable way.
